The pcx and adv have front wheel abs. They were straight forward to deal with and i got them down to $2162 otd for a 2009 with 193 miles. Even though they are drying up you still can find old new stock scooter out there from the last 4 years of down turns. Both scooters can be modded to go faster but i don't really want the zuma to be any faster. The zuma doesn't have abs. It probably wasn’t new with 100 miles on it and two model years removed. I ve seen bwm 125 2009 models last year selling for 2500 bucks out the door.

Seems to have happened to several over at the zuma forums. Add in all of the mods and you have the power to pull that tall gearing. Here the thing to me low cost? The bodywork on the pcx and adv will make servicing more expensive or complicated if you.

Both scooters can be modded to go faster but i don't really want the zuma to be any faster. Lower rpm per given speed means slower cooling fan speed which can lead to an overheated engine. I realize there would probably be a big difference in traveling at highway speeds on freeways, and taking backroads on a small scooter. The ruckus on the other hand begs for a gy6 engine swap.
Here The Thing To Me Low Cost?
Even though they are drying up you still can find old new stock scooter out there from the last 4 years of down turns. The zuma is only a 125 but has a 4 valve head with variable valve timing so it seems to be comparable to most 150cc scooters. It probably wasn’t new with 100 miles on it and two model years removed. The zuma, modded, will need gearing to get the high speeds desired by the op.

This little beast was a trade in at a local scooter dealer. Gee zuma 125 is't all that much cash to start with. The zuma 125 is notorious for a slow setting ecu and dramatic temperature changes can prevent the mixture from being proper for start up. Both scooters drop below 40 mph on long climbs.
