The game allows you to save your character builds, including their appearance, abilities, and equipment, as presets. Character creation in this game isn't complex, and there won't be that many options. I just made my character and then made a save as soon as the game actually starts. Templates/samples for mods for character creation such as hairs, heads, races, subraces and colours. I decided to make my own template for my bg3 characters, because i enjoy filling these things out so much. So if i want to use this character again, i can just grab that save and start again with her.
