Latex Report Template

Latex Report Template - I'm looking to use latex for my technical documentation needs (such as reference manuals, user guides, etc). Tons of packages and control sequences. I use latex for creating reports as a view for a django application. Book and report will use the arguments of \chapters and \sections for running headings (if such headings are present), while article will use \sections and \subsections. Here is the template, notice django templates tags that is between {{ }} or {% %}. Could i use your template to quickly get started in order to avoid being overwhelming by the latex world. Otherwise goggle may provide you with many template hosting repositories.

Book and report will number floats (figures, tables etc.), equations, and footnotes per chapter, while article will number them continuously. I'm working on new reports based on context, with flowcharts and maybe some metapost plots. Source code is available in my git repo.
