Now that i've done those things, i made a cardboard template for the holster body, the welt, and the reinforcing panel/front belt slot wing. Before anyone asks about cutting the knives are tiny so aren't.

It appears to be only three pieces of leather the strap in back is doubled for a belt loop maybe and is also the bottom of the holster riveted in the front the sides are one strap wrapped around the radio and sewn to the back strap, a leather strap for the snap set and your good to go. Looks pretty simple to make your own, all you need is a radio or wooden copy to size it. Leather gloves pattern (casual or work). The flatbed machine they do would cut through thicker leather but are over $5000 i think, definately not something i could afford they use an air suction system. I bought the pattern set early this summer and put it away for a winter storm.

After making my first holster, i modified my template slightly so that i had the belt slots at better angles on the wings, made the holster go a bit higher on the slide, and made enough room for 2 belt slots.
