Reactive Oxygen Species and Antioxidant Enzymes in Developing Brain
Abstract
Reactive oxygen and nitrogen species can regulate fundamental for development cellular processes such as proliferation, migration, differentiation and apoptosis. Brain cells in various stage of development might exhibit discrete changes in their parameters of oxidation and antioxidant defence. This review will focus on the role of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species and antioxidants in the developmental processes.
Keywords
